Liberty Book Publishings is a leading book publishing company offering professional book publishing services to first-time and returning authors. From editing and design through formatting, publishing setup, and distribution, our team handles the work that stands between your manuscript and a finished book — while every decision, and every right, stays with you. You publish on your terms, at your pace.

Every author arrives at a different point. Some need a manuscript edited before anything else; others have a polished file and only need cover design, publishing setup, or distribution. You choose what fits, and nothing more. Our team can guide the entire publishing process from start to finish, or step in for the single stage where you need help.
Publishing setup handled end to end: print and digital editions prepared to platform specification, files uploaded correctly, and your book made available to retailers and readers. You keep your rights and royalties throughout.

Careful, thorough editing that respects your voice. We correct errors, tighten sentences, and check consistency so your manuscript reads cleanly and holds a reader’s trust from the first page onward.

Covers that earn attention and interiors that are comfortable to read. Layouts are built correctly for both print and digital formats, with original illustration available when your book calls for it.

Getting your finished book in front of the right readers. We help plan a launch, build your presence as an author, and improve how your book is presented where people discover it.

Deciding who to trust with a manuscript is difficult from the outside. These are authors we’ve worked with, describing their book publishing experience in their own words — what they came to us with, which parts of publishing they needed help on, and how the work went. Watch and judge for yourself.

Guided through the full process, from manuscript review to print and eBook release.
No two books have the same requirements. A children’s picture book needs different handling than a memoir or a business title, and authors come to us at different points with different goals. Our book publishing experience spans genres, formats, and stages — from cover design alone to full publishing and distribution.

There is no single correct place to publish. The right mix depends on whether you’re releasing print, digital, or both, where your readers actually shop, whether you want bookstore and library availability, and how much control you want over pricing. Our team can explain the trade-offs and handle the setup on the platforms you choose.

Google’s eBook and audiobook store, available across Android devices and the web. It reaches readers internationally, particularly in markets where Android is the dominant platform.

Apple’s eBook and audiobook store, built into every iPhone, iPad, and Mac. A meaningful digital channel for readers who stay within Apple’s ecosystem rather than buying through Amazon.

Amazon’s self-publishing platform for eBooks and print-on-demand paperbacks and hardcovers. It reaches the largest single book-buying audience online, which makes it the starting point for most authors.

Barnes & Noble’s publishing platform for print books and Nook eBooks. Useful for authors who want a presence with a major American bookstore chain alongside their Amazon listing.

A print and distribution platform that supplies bookstores, libraries, and wholesalers worldwide. This is the route to take when you want your book orderable through retail and library channels.

Kobo’s eBook platform, with strong readership in Canada, Europe, and through library lending services. Often overlooked, and worth including for authors publishing digitally.

A reader community for reviews, recommendations, and book discovery — not a publishing platform. You cannot publish a book here, but an author profile and listed title help readers find and discuss your work.

Most authors have never published before and don’t know what the book publishing process involves. Here is the whole thing, start to finish. Not every book needs every stage — if you only need design or distribution, we start where you are.

These are the questions authors ask us most often, answered plainly. If publishing is new to you, the areas worth understanding before you commit to anything are cost, how long it takes, who owns the work, and what a publishing service can and can’t promise. All four are covered below.
Publishing costs vary by project because no two manuscripts need the same level of support. The cost of book publishing services depends on your word count, the services you select, whether you need a print book, eBook, or both, the complexity of cover design or illustration, and the amount of book editing your manuscript requires. Liberty Book Publishings reviews your manuscript and prepares a written estimate based on your publishing needs, so you understand the full scope of services and publishing costs before committing.
Liberty Book Publishings provides professional book publishing services covering editing, design, and marketing services for authors. That includes proofreading and copy editing, cover design, interior formatting and typesetting, illustration, publishing setup for print and digital editions, printing, distribution, and launch and promotional support. Authors can use the full process or select individual services, depending on what their manuscript already has and what stage they’ve reached.
The typical book publishing process starts with finishing your manuscript, have it edited, get a cover and interior designed, prepare files to platform specification, then publish and distribute. Most authors publish independently through platforms like Amazon KDP or IngramSpark rather than seeking a traditional publisher. Liberty Book Publishings handles the technical and creative stages for authors who’d rather not manage each step alone.
Yes. Amazon KDP is one of the platforms Liberty Book Publishings works with regularly, for both eBooks publishing and print-on-demand paperbacks and hardcovers. Our team can format your your manuscript to Amazon KDP specifications, prepare your cover to the correct trim size, set up your listing and metadata, and complete the upload. Your KDP account and royalties remain entirely yours.
Yes. Authors retain 100% copyright ownership of their work. Liberty Book Publishings provides book publishing services and does not acquire, share, or claim any rights to your manuscript at any point. This differs from traditional publishing, where a publisher typically licenses rights in exchange for advances and royalties. Here, your book remains your property and you control how it is published, priced, and sold.
No. Liberty Book Publishings does not take a percentage of your book royalties. Payment is for the services you select, quoted upfront. Once your book is published, royalties from Amazon, IngramSpark, or any other platform go directly to you under your own accounts. There is no ongoing revenue share and no back-end claim on your book’s earnings.
Timelines depend on your manuscript and the book publishing services involved. A book needing full editing takes considerably longer than one arriving print-ready and only needing a cover. Design revisions, your own review and approval time, illustration work, and each platform’s own processing and review periods all affect the schedule. Liberty Book Publishings provides an estimated timeline in your proposal, based on your actual project scope.
Yes. Many authors arrive with a complete draft that hasn’t been professionally edited yet, and that’s a normal starting point. Liberty Book Publishings offers professional book editing services, including proofreading, copy editing, and grammar and consistency review. Our team can assess your manuscript first and tell you what level of editing it actually needs, so you’re not paying for a deeper edit than the work requires.
Yes. Liberty Book Publishings supports print and digital editions, including paperback, hardcover, and eBook formats. Print and digital require different file preparation — trim sizes, bleed, and typesetting for print; reflowable formatting for eBooks — so each edition is built separately to the correct specification. Most authors publish both, since it costs little extra once the interior is designed.
Distribution depends on the platforms you choose. Options include Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple Books, Google Play Books, Kobo, and — through IngramSpark — bookstores, libraries, and wholesalers internationally. Liberty Book Publishings can set up distribution across print and digital channels. Which combination makes sense depends on your format, your readers, and whether retail and library availability matters to you.
Yes. NDA protection is included automatically on every project, with no request or extra fee required. Your manuscript, notes, and any material you share stay confidential and are not used, shared, or shown to anyone outside the team working on your book. Copyright in the work remains with you throughout, before and after publication.
No. Sales figures, rankings, and bestseller status cannot be guaranteed by any publisher or publishing service, and anyone promising them is worth treating with caution. What can be controlled is the quality of your book and how well it’s presented — professional editing, a competitive cover, correct metadata, and a coordinated launch. Liberty Book Publishings focuses on those, not on outcome promises.

Holding your completed manuscript is a huge milestone, and you shouldn’t have to navigate publishing alone. From cover design to global distribution, we handle the details so you can share your work with the world. Let’s bring your book to life.
